The stun gun is a non-lethal self-defense weapon, the most versatile and reliable self-defense means against attacks on the street, in the building halls, in the car or at home.
Remote-contact stun guns allow the user to influence the target from a safe distance. Remote cartridges, cassettes, or remote magazines are installed on the stun gun and initiated by pressing the stun discharge button.
SHOOTING STUN GUN FOR SELF-DEFENSE
Some remote cartridges are designed so that the user can apply the stun gun contact after initiating the cartridge, without removing it from the stun gun. These cartridges have their own contact electrodes.
Distance of impact of the stun gun
The minimum application distance is 1 meter.
Maximum application distance:
- Remote cartridge (KD), produced by OBERON-ALPHA, - up to 5 meters;
- Cartridge remote plus (KD+) , produced by OBERON-ALPHA, - guaranteed accuracy of the shot up to 5 meters and further following the target up to 10 meters;
- Remote cassette stun gun HYBRID , produced by OBERON-ALPHA, - up to 6 meters;
- Shooting cartridge (BTER), produced by MART Group, - up to 4.5 meters.

Remote KD and KD+ cartridges are designed for use with remote-contact stun gun PHANTOM and stun gun baton ZEUS. The cartridges have a bayonet lock for mounting on the stun gun.

Comparison of remote cartridges with TASER stun guns
Axon Enterprise, Inc. (formerly TASER Inc.) is a manufacturer of electroshock devices for police and citizens based in the United States. TASER stun guns are designed for remote use. Despite the fact that the stun guns of this manufacturer can be used contact, it is not recommended to do it due to low efficiency (as indicated in the instructions for the device).
The length of the harpoons of the TASER X26 cartridges is 9.5 or 13 mm, depending on the model.
The maximum distance of the application of the TASER X26 cartridges: 4,5, 6.4 m or 7.6 m (see Datasheet). At the same time, at a distance of 5 meters, the spread of the probes is already 74 cm.
